The Greater Muscat Structure Plan has been recognised at the World Architecture Festival (WAF) 2025, one of the world's most respected awards celebrating excellence in architecture and urban design.
F&M is pleased to have contributed to this landmark initiative as Contract Holder and Local Liaison, supporting the delivery of a long-term vision for the future growth and sustainable development of Muscat.
Commissioned by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning of the Sultanate of Oman, the Greater Muscat Structure Plan establishes a strategic framework to guide the capital's future expansion through integrated planning, infrastructure, mobility and environmental resilience.
The project brought together an international multidisciplinary team, led by Broadway Malyan as Technical Lead, alongside MIC-Hub for transport and mobility, Cundall for infrastructure, and Pegasys Group for socio-economic development.
This international recognition reflects the strength of collaborative planning and the shared commitment of all project partners to delivering sustainable, resilient and future-ready cities.
F&M congratulates Broadway Malyan and the entire project team on this outstanding achievement and remains committed to supporting transformative developments that contribute to the long-term ambitions of Oman Vision 2040.
