F&M marked an important milestone with a special event celebrating the first decade of F&M Middle East and the official launch of F&M International, reinforcing the company's long-term commitment to the region and its vision for future growth.
Held under the esteemed patronage of His Excellency Dr. Khalfan bin Said Al Shueili, Minister of Housing and Urban Planning of the Sultanate of Oman, the event brought together government representatives, clients, partners and industry leaders to reflect on ten years of growth and collaboration in Oman.
The evening featured remarks from F&M International leadership, including Hazem Abdul Karim, CEO and Managing Partner; Jean-Pierre Jelwan, Board Director and Chief Operating Officer; Haneen Hammoudeh, Board Director and UAE Country Director; and Salim Ba Omar, Partner at F&M Middle East.
The event was also attended by representatives from F&M Group in Italy, including Sandro Favero, Founder and President of F&M Ingegneria SpA, alongside Federico Zaggia and Tommaso Tassi, highlighting the strong connection between F&M's Italian heritage and its growing regional presence.
Further recognising this connection, the event was honoured by the presence of His Excellency Pierluigi D'Elia, Ambassador of Italy to the Sultanate of Oman.
A highlight of the evening was the signing of two strategic agreements that reinforce F&M's commitment to supporting transformative developments across the region.
The first agreement was signed with Tathmeer, represented by Abdulrahim Al Kharusi, Chairman of Tathmeer, for the development of Neighbourhood 6 within A’Thuraya City, one of Oman's emerging integrated urban destinations.
The second agreement was signed with VA Group, represented by Roman Kapinos, Managing Partner, for the Mutrah Waterfront project, contributing to the continued transformation of one of Muscat's most significant urban areas.
The launch of F&M International marks the beginning of a new phase of regional growth. Headquartered in Oman, the company now operates through a growing network of offices across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon and the United Kingdom, strengthening its ability to support complex developments across the GCC and international markets.
As F&M enters its second decade in the region, the company remains committed to delivering integrated consultancy services across engineering, architecture, infrastructure and project management while contributing to the long-term development ambitions of the communities it serves.
